For over 50 years now, the Coupe Icare has been the most eagerly awaited event of the autumn season! What a feat for an event that manages to renew and innovate every year! Created in 1974 by a group of enthusiasts, the Coupe Icare welcomes over 90,000 spectators and thousands of pilots every year. To discover in the skies of the Coupe Icare Paragliding, hang-gliding, paramotoring, microlighting, hot-air ballooning and dirigible ballooning, skydiving, wingsuiting and paralpinism, aerobatics, kite flying, boomerang, aeromodelling, gliding and falconry. 6 days of immersion in the world of flying men & women On the world-famous free-flight site of Saint-Hilaire – Lumbin in Chartreuse, between Grenoble and Chambéry in the French Alps. An international event in which the pilots are the actors: fancy dress flying competition, aerial demonstrations, film festival, trade shows, second-hand markets, equipment tests, conferences, walking and flying, finesse competitions, etc. An end-of-season week for pilots: Icare Test, Icare du Cinéma, Icare Expo, Icare Conférences, etc. A weekend for all the family: Icarnaval, Icare Show, Icare Ballons, Icare du Cinéma, Icare Mômes, Icare Folies, Atterro Expo, …
